PDF knitting pattern AMSTERDAM BAG
THE AMSTERDAM BAG is inspired by environmental friendliness. Made with yarn from the Knitwit Stable: a Dutch company that focusses on a sustainable production and processing of the material as well as animal friendly farming. With this Dutch yarn I designed a bag that uses two of the most common Dutch symbols: tulips and windmills.
The bag is knitted in the round with three strings of yarn held together for one colour. Once the bag itself is knit you use stitches from the side panels to create the band. This band is also knit in the round but with only two strings of yarn held together.
*Language*: ENGLISCH
*Skill level*: needs a bit of experience
*Techniques used*: stranded knitting in the round, two-sided provisional cast on, slipped stitches. All used techniques are well explained in the pattern with pictures and links to tutorials.

John –
I bought the Amsterdam pattern for my wife. Since last year I have been looking for some hours to spend alone with my PS5 – seing her knit her new handbag without me having to shop for hours is a total win-win situation.
